Opportunities

Crisis Clinic of Thurston and Mason Counties is centered on community. See below for opportunities to help Crisis Clinic and for ways Crisis Clinic can help your community.

Volunteer

We welcome your interest in becoming a Crisis Clinic Phone Line Volunteer. The Crisis Clinic provides a 24-hour phone service to anyone who calls, offering crisis intervention, emotional support, and information and referral to a wide variety of necessary resources often needed by our callers.

Internship

The Crisis Clinic is a private non-profit agency that provides confidential and anonymous 24-hour telephone crisis intervention, information and referral to human services resources. We have a wide range of internship opportunities to develop a variety of communication and leadership skills.

Community Training

We provide the following community trainings. All of our trainings provide the essentials of understanding crisis and the process of de-escalation. We will combine any of our modules to meet your needs. We will also add coached practice time (roleplays) for a more interactive training or to focus on specific issues.

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps is your moment to take the path less traveled, to break the status quo, to stop talking about the problem and be the solution. Join AmeriCorps and you can mentor and tutor kids, rebuild a community after disaster, help veterans, or work with local communities to alleviate poverty. There are thousands of opportunities to choose from, find the one that fits you.
