The Crisis Clinic’s 50th Anniversary Gala

The Crisis Clinic of Thurston & Mason Counties is excited to announce that this year marks a significant milestone for us as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary Gala. Our 24/7 crisis lines have been operational since December 20th, 1972. Originating in a dorm room at the Evergreen State College, The Crisis Clinic was developed to meet the need for after-hours emergency services in the Olympia community, and we have been proud to expand into Thurston and Mason counties over the last 50 years.
Our goal for this special occasion is not only to celebrate our achievements but also to create a lasting impact on the lives of our Youth Crisis Support Advocates. These exceptional young individuals play a pivotal role in our organization, offering guidance and empathy to their peers during times of crisis. By reserving 10% of the gala proceeds, we aim to support their access to higher education, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to empower more lives in their communities.
Additionally, the remainder of the proceeds will be allocated towards the Gala and essential Crisis Clinic functions, enabling us to invest in upgrading our technology, train incoming Crisis Support Advocates, and further our community outreach.
